Nairobi to Iten
Depart Nairobi by road. Navigate the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Stop in Nakuru. Ascend to Eldoret for lunch. Proceed to HATC in Iten. Briefing and orientation.

Pre-dawn training. Visit local school. Coach lecture. Last training of the day.

Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru at the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Game drive into park, arrive for lunch. Afternoon game viewing. Over 400 bird species, flamingo colonies, big population of both black and white rhino — Kenya's first Rhino sanctuary (1984). Sizeable Rothschild's giraffe population.

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
Depart early morning, crossing western escarpment of the Rift Valley to Maasai country. Arrive at Mara for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

Full Day in the Mara
Full day searching for the Big Five with 2 game drives. Options for hot air balloon ride and Maasai cultural village visit.

Departure
Optional early morning game drive. Depart after breakfast for Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch.
